• The Bear season 3 has the opportunity to feature celebrity cameos to add more star power and humor to the show.
  • Chef Gordon Ramsey and Roy Choi are potential celebrity guests who could bring their culinary expertise and entertainment value to the restaurant.
  • Including stars like Alison Brie, Bill Murray, Taylor Swift, Harrison Ford, Ridley Scott, Sigourney Weaver, and Donald Glover would create exciting connections between The Bear and other popular shows and movies.

The Bear has already featured plenty of celebrity guests in cameo roles, and season 3 has a chance to get in some even bigger names. The Bear season 2 ended on an explosive opening night with many ups and downs for the entire staff of the restaurant. However, the renovations are now complete, and the old sandwich shop has been transformed into a high-concept, fine-dining restaurant in the heart of Chicago.

With the restaurant updated and the team learning to work together, The Bear season 3 is the perfect time to bring in some celebrity cameos to serve in the restaurant, or even help out in the kitchen. The Bear has already included cameos from celebrities like Will Poulter as a dessert chef training Marcus in Copenhagen, Joel McHale as Carmy’s old boss, and Jon Bernthal as Carmy’s late brother, Mikey. As the show becomes increasingly popular and continues to deliver a realistic look at life in a busy kitchen, it’s worth pulling in some well-known celebs to visit the restaurant.

10 Gordon Ramsey

Another Angry Chef

Chef Gordon Ramsey has made a whole career out of being the angriest and loudest chef in the kitchen. Having Ramsey appear in The Bear season 3 could be a great opportunity for another stubborn chef, a confrontational critic, or, playing against his nature, he could appear as an incredibly sweet and kind food reviewer. Having Chef Ramsey would be a great opportunity for some comedy with his level of fame and recognizability in the food industry and entertainment.

9 Roy Choi

Legendary LA Chef

Roy Choi is an incredible chef who rose to fame thanks to his culinary craft and innovative food trucks, like Kogi in LA. Choi has also appeared in a few cameo roles over the years, appearing as himself in Jon Favreau’s 2014 film Chef, and also in Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. Choi is a big name in both the culinary world and entertainment thanks to his Netflix series The Chef Show and appearances in lots of popular media.

8 Alison Brie

Alison Brie as Annie in Community Season 1

The Bear has already featured two of the stars from Community in the first two seasons, Joel McHale and Gillian Jacobs. Keeping up the trend and including more of the wonderful stars from the hit comedy series would be a great way to link the two shows. Alison Brie has gone on to star in several big shows and movies since her time on Community, and it would be great to see her pop up in The Bear.

7 Josh Scherer

Mythical Chef Josh Is A Big Fan

YouTube personality, Josh Scherer has made a name for himself as the face of the Mythical Kitchen YouTube channel. An offshoot of the popular Good Mythical Morning channel, starring Rhett and Link, Mythical Kitchen has risen to new heights, making popular fast food in elevated ways and undertaking a series of food challenges. The cast of the channel has also referenced The Bear dozens of times and expressed an appreciation for its authenticity. Seeing Mythical Chef Josh crossover into the world of The Bear would be an incredibly satisfying moment connecting the two worlds.

6 Bill Murray

Comedian, Actor, And Cousin’s Voicemail

In The Bear season 1, episode 6, a flashback scene shows Mikey telling a story about the time cousin Richie met Bill Murray in a bar. Richie retells the story to a date and, unfortunately, it mainly serves to highlight his issues with alcohol addiction. Having Murray show up in the new restaurant and make a connection with Richie could be a great way to show how far Richie has come, and the improvements made in his life, as well as featuring a comedy legend.

5 Taylor Swift

In The Bear season 2, episode 7, Richie spends some time working at a high-end Michelin-star restaurant to refine his hosting skills. The wonderful climax of his hard work plays out with Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” playing over the top, and as Richie drives in his car, pleased with his progress, he belts it out alongside Taylor on the track. Considering his obvious status as a Swiftie, it would be perfect if Taylor Swift could come in as one of the guests at The Bear, or even deliver a musical performance as part of The Bear season 3.

4 Harrison Ford

Blade Runner’s Rick Deckard

Considering Richie is one of the most well-versed members of the team in pop culture references, it comes as no surprise that he is a major fan of Ridley Scott and his body of work. On more than one occasion, Richie has called people replicants as an insult, and call back to Scott’s 1982 film, Blade Runner. Getting a cameo from Harrison Ford would be a great way to pay tribute to this link with the star either acting in a small role or appearing as himself.

3 Ridley Scott

Legendary Director Of Alien And Blade Runner

Considering the fact that Ridley Scott is usually behind the camera instead of in front of it, it would be great to get him in a cameo role for The Bear season 3. The famous director would be great as a guest star, possibly offering guidance and direction on how the staff at The Bear restaurant can work together more effectively. Or simply as a diner who comes out to experience the food.

2 Sigourney Weaver

Ellen Ripley In Alien

Sigourney Weaver as Ripley holding Jonesy the cat in Alien

Sigourney Weaver is a huge sci-fi star from major franchises like Alien, Avatar, and Ghostbusters. She frequently plays roles as a powerful woman who leads others and isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty. She would make a great head chef, potentially at a rival restaurant, or an authority figure who could step in and complicate matters for the restaurant. Whatever the role, Weaver would be an incredible star to have as a cameo in The Bear season 3.

1 Donald Glover

Community Star And Rapper

Returning to stars from the Community series, Donald Glover is potentially the biggest star to come out of the series. Releasing music as the highly celebrated Childish Gambino, writing award-winning comedy series like Atlanta, and landing huge roles in major movies, Glover would be a next-level cameo. It would also add to the list of stars to appear in both Community and The Bear, which would be a great way to link the dramedy to the outrageous comedy series.
