Created by Seth MacFarlane, Family Guy is an animated sitcom airing on Fox. A brutal and unrelenting farce on American life, the series has been subjected to multiple controversies over the years. Despite this, it remains quite popular, with Season 22 premiering on October 1, 2023. If you are curious when season 23 is coming out, you have come to the right place.

Is there a Family Guy Season 23 release date?

The Family Guy Season 23 release date could arrive by late 2024.

In January 2023, Fox renewed Family Guy for seasons 22 and 23, Bob’s Burgers for Seasons 14 and 15, and The Simpsons for Seasons 35 and 36, effectively ensuring that all three shows will remain on air till 2025.

Michael Thorn, the current President of Entertainment at Fox, said in a statement, “With this trio of renewals, we celebrate excellence in animation on Fox, our wonderful, longtime partnership with 20th Television, and the brilliant creators and incredible voices behind these forever favorites. Three-plus decades of The Simpsons, more than two decades of Family Guy, and over a decade of Bob’s Burgers proves the enduring power of the animation genre on our network and the infinite fan affinity for these outrageously funny comedy classics.”

Since its premiere, Family Guy has consistently churned out new seasons every year, and 2023 is no exception. Unless SAG-AFTRA remains on strike well into next year, this pattern is unlikely to change, and Season 23 will probably come out in the final quarter of 2024. This date is an estimation based on the information we have at the time of this writing.
