In its 16-episode runtime, Netflix’s I Woke Up a Vampire features several well-written and entertaining characters portrayed by a young roster of talented cast members. Combining coming-of-age drama with the supernatural, I Woke Up a Vampire joins the list of television shows like Teen Wolf and Wolf Pack that navigate the struggles of a half-human, half-supernatural character. Although I Woke Up a Vampire follows the well-worn conventions of the vampire sub-genre, it proves to be an entertaining series because of its light-hearted comedy and family-friendly drama.

The actors portraying them inject energy and excitement into every scene, leaving audiences captivated throughout the show’s long runtime. Although some of these young actors are only dipping their feet into the world of television with I Woke Up a Vampire, they do an incredible job at bringing life to the show’s supernatural and human characters.
