Skill Points are used to buy powerful abilities for both heroes in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and can be earned fast when completing missions found throughout the game. Miles Morales and Peter Parker’s skill trees require Skill Points to level up. However, finding which content in the massive open world should be pursued to gain these points quickly can be tricky.



Any abilities added from either web-slinger’s Skill Tree can be found in the Moves List section of the menu, no matter if it is for combat or traversal. Some moves cost more than 1 Skill Point, especially at the later upgrade path sections. You can change between both protagonists’ powers by pressing L2 and R2, in the same way you view different suits in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for either character.

The easiest way to get a ton of Skill Points fast is to complete main story missions, level up as much as possible by taking on activities, and follow side quests whenever possible. Obviously, the campaign grants the most XP for leveling up when pursuing the events surrounding Kraven’s Great Hunt. The Marvel’s Spider-Man 2‘s main story can lead to long sections, making it slightly tedious to complete if you just want Skill Points.

Stopping crimes is a fast way to earn small chunks of XP for Skill Points as you explore New York City’s open world. Doing tricks as you web swing around will give you very little experience, but it is another thing to do that helps increase your level. Eventually, you’ll gain access to Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (FNSM) requests, which act like mini-missions for quick boosts toward new Skill Points in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

Perhaps the best method for Skill Point farming comes from Corruption events that open up in the city after you finish the main story missions. Short challenges where you have to protect a device from waves of enemies for a time, Corruptions always grant 1,200 XP for success. This outweighs even some story missions to make these events incredibly valuable for those looking to gain the most experience possible.

When you earn enough Skill Points fast in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, you should be able to take on the rogue’s gallery of villains who threaten the city with ease due to various wall-crawling abilities best suited for a hero.
