I have networks in 2 separate buildings. Each has its own private IP range. We’re installing a private fiber link between the two buildings. Do I just need to adjust the subnet mask so they can see devices in each building or do I need to re-ip one side to match the other? Currently it’s:

Building A: 10.0.11.x 255.255.255.0
Building B: 10.0.12.x 255.255.255.0

Would changing the subnet mask to 255.255.0.0 be correct or is there a better option?

Thanks in advance for any help!
