Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland’s live-action Spider-Men get another team-up after their Marvel Cinematic Universe adventure in new Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse fan art. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse marked the return of Miles Morales while also expanding the Spider-Verse franchise with numerous new Spider-Man variants. One of the big takeaways was the confirmation that Sony’s Spider-Man Universe is actually tied to the same multiverse, as the Spot made a quick visit to Earth-688, with a funny cameo by Mrs. Chen from the Venom movies.

Mrs. Chen wasn’t the only live-action cameo in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, as Donald Glover’s Prowler showed up in the flesh, while Garfield and Maguire’s Spider-Men appeared through archival footage. With the world waiting patiently to find out if any live-action Spider-Man will appear in Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, PVilly_Artist recently shared artwork of Holland, Garfield, and Maguire making their way into the next movie.

The Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse fan imagines what it would look like if Maguire, Garfield, and Holland were part of the Spider Society. Given how many Spider-Man variants were seen in the latest movie, it wouldn’t be shocking if either three of them were members of Miguel O’Hara’s organization.

Ever since Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse was announced, the theories have been non-stop about whether or not they are looking to break outside the animated format. The “Beyond” part in the title would make it seem that they are potentially tapping into the world of live-action, which seemed absurd at first. But once Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse established that the Spider Society consists of animated and live-action Spider-Man variants, it has made that theory far more possible for Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.

Given the massive secrecy surrounding Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, it wouldn’t be shocking if Sony is actually trying to have any of the live-action Spider-Men in the movie. This would be one of the biggest ways to wrap up a superhero trilogy, especially if it means Miles is given a chance to team up with any of the live-action Spider-Men from their respective universe. Another bonus would be if they tap other characters from Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, especially Venom, following the visit to Earth-688.

Time will tell how big they are looking to go with Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, but after how Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse ended, they have huge expectations to meet. It would also genuinely be interesting to see the sequel follow both live-action and animated characters at the same time. Hopefully, once Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse finally gets a release date set, Sony will start teasing what is actually in store for the trilogy finale.
